How Deep are the Gecko's Pockets
Is it possible for an insurance company to spend more on advertising then they write in direct premium?
A little birdie told me that GEICO spends more on advertising then they write in total personal auto premiums annually.

Anyone know if this is actually true? Can't imagine. Would make the combined ratio exceptionally high. Especially when all of your advertisements promote savings on insurance premiums.
If anyone knows for sure, drop me a note - I'm curios!
