Is Service247 a home warranty company?

Service247 is not a home warranty company. Service247 provides policyholders assistance and value-added services such as emergency mitigation, restoration and repair services in the event of a covered homeowner's property loss. All of our work is managed by licensed independent adjusters and is warranted for one year.

What are the regulatory implications of working with Service247?

We have had several meetings with and reviewed our programs with several representatives from different regulatory authorities and Departments of Insurance. We have received positive feedback and were told that the program as presented seemed to offer great value to consumers.

How are you different than an approved vendor list or contractor network?

Approved vendor lists and contractor networks merely provide policyholders with a list of names of service providers that have been screened and are authorized to direct bill the insurance carrier. When it comes right down to it, the policyholder is still left to manage the repair process on their own. This means contacting service providers, scheduling appointments, obtaining quotes, ensuring that the proposed work is done correctly and overseeing the quality of the work, scheduling and managing punch lists, etc. Service247 provides a licensed independent adjuster that serves as the project manager and serves as a single point of contact for the homeowner, actively managing the restoration and repair process from claim to completion. That same individual remains the single point of contact for all follow up issues and warrants all work for a full year following completion.
